After just a handful of starts over hurdles I’m still keen to side with the potential of MIGHT I at Cheltenham on Saturday. If you look back through his form he has bumped into the likes of Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Three Stripe Life and I thought he shaped better than the bare result when down the field at Haydock when last seen. He was just too keen that day and made one too many mistakes as a result. He was also up to three miles there and drops back significantly in trip.

This test should prove ideal and I’ll be amazed if there isn’t more to come. Punctuation deserves to be vying for favouritism given he has won his last four over hurdles. He was impressive over C&D last month but has been put up 8lb and finds himself in a better race now so definitely more on his plate. Pikar let backers down at Newbury but was impressive at Chepstow before that and if bouncing back would also deserve plenty of respect.
