I thought there was lots to like about the way ALEXANDRA ROMANOV stayed on gamely to open her account over C&D last month. She kept finding for pressure and was a gutsy winner at the line. She remains unexposed especially over this trip so up just 2lb as competitive as this looks I still think it represents a decent opportunity for her to follow up. She will race prominently again and that could turn out to be a plus.

Awesome Foursome is also unexposed after just the four starts but he is priced up on potential rather than what he has achieved as he was stuffed at Exeter last time and will need to leave that well behind on handicap debut. He will do better at some point but I’m surprised he is as short as he is. Godot is a good looking type and he was running quite well at Huntingdon before making a bad mistake three out. He still has potential so don’t rule out a good run here I’d probably have him as the main danger.
