Rocco Storm has won 3 of his last 4 now and ran on well to win easily here last time but a further 7lb rise applies more pressure and he is likely to be short enough here. I think NETYWELL represents better value for Lucinda Russell. He really improved to open his account over fences here last time and I thought he had plenty in hand. He is up 7lb too but the difference is this is just his fourth start over fences so he remains unexposed. I didn’t expect him to be as big as 4/1 off that impressive performance so he has to be the play here. Rison won by 9 lengths at Newcastle on Boxing Day but I’m not sure he beat a great deal in the context of this race and the handicapper has raised him 8lb which looks a little harsh. Duty Calls has place claims as he ran well when third to the selection last time but he isn’t getting any younger so hard to see him closing that gap. Travail D’orfevre has had a wind op since pulling up last time but still enough to prove.
