Both Lovely Mana, a three-time winner on Tapeta in Britain, and the consistent Harmony Rose return from absences of over a hundred days.

Quite a few of these have shown potential but the 82-rated NEWS AT TEN may be worth another chance after getting stuck behind a wall of horses early in the straight on his first visit to Dundalk three weeks ago. Once in the clear, he ran on for third behind a couple of debutants and should be sharper for that first start in seven months. He ran well over this trip at Gowran last summer so coming back from a mile shouldn't be a problem. Ger Lyons had his first winner of the year on Wednesday and Zero Mostel, who kept on to be fifth on debut a month ago, is likely to take a big step forward. Miami Thunder, from a smart Australian family, only went down by half a length on last month's debut and has to enter calculations while both Bitacora (first-time tongue-tie) and Sound Of The Night have shown a fair level of ability in similar contests.

Having blown the start on debut here before Christmas, LAUROLINE was a conspicuous eyecatcher last time when flying home from mid-division to get with half a length of an odds-on favourite. Stepping back up a furlong looks sure to suit and her young rider is improving all the time as he gets more opportunities. Banned was beaten less than a length when second over further here on Wednesday. She travelled strongly for a long way and dropping back to a mile may not be an issue if she turns out again quickly. Solar Breeze was handed a mark of 83 after going close in a Naas maiden first time out last year. She hasn't progressed but has to be respected in a maiden of this standard and clearly goes well fresh. Both Dabana and Maggie And Me start out for new yards after lengthy lay-offs.

MULGRAVE struggled off marks in the 70s after back-to-back C&D victories in late 2020. He has come back down to a competitive mark judging by his last two runs here which saw him beaten no more than two lengths, including when runner-up to a useful mare just over a fortnight ago with Notforalongtime back in fourth. With his stable continuing to send out winners under both codes, the six-year-old can regain the winning thread. Jered Maddox is another Dundalk regular who has come back to form of late with a win and two places. His four wins at this venue have been over shorter trips but he was denied by just a short head over this distance last time and was successful off this mark a year ago. Barbapapa is a lightly-raced C&D maiden winner who ran an encouraging race after over six months off when third here in December. He should be better for that outing and Sam Ewing is an interesting booking.

WHERE R U NOW BOB drops a furlong in distance having won last month but should be competitive from 3lb higher, in first-time cheepieces. Closely matched with Doctor Grace on a November meeting over six furlongs, his January win was over a mile but might be ok reverting to seven furlongs, as he possesses a somewhat unexposed profile. Doctor Grace was slowly away in that November race and while placed twice subsequently and proven at this distance, is more exposed than the selection. Knockmore Prince, whose dam is a half-sister to a Listed winner, has poor maiden form but Colin Keane rides on handicap debut. Fendi, a half-sister to a Prix de l'Abbaye winner, was just a neck behind Doctor Grace in November but is frustrating.

DANCING TANGO has good recent maiden form and was useful in UK handicaps. Well bred and suited by this distance, she finished fifth in a Shergar Cup race last August and having recently proven herself on this surface, should compete from her 82 rating. Ex-French Firstman was rated 80 in 2020 and while that subsequently dipped to 57, has recently bounced back. He has obvious claims having won over course and distance in December but competes from a career high 85. Vina Sena finished ahead of Dalvey (finished fourth) and Bowerman (fifth) in December and is interesting stepping back up in distance. Bowerman wasn't beaten too far last month and competes from that same career-low rating, stepping up in distance. Seattle Creek was no match for the winner here in December but is a previous course and distance winner.

SATONO CHEVALIER is a 13-race maiden but has run well on both course runs, the latest being when finishing second over this distance 16 days ago. He was well held by the winner but a reproduction should see him involved and he notably finished ahead of Matilda With Me at Killarney last July and is now 12lb better off. Matilda With Me is nonetheless more reliable than the selection so has her chance, despite the weight concession. She is closely matched with Dark Street on her November win, with Dark Street showing good course and distance form since. Wonder Spirit ran well over CD recently but is a 15-race maiden while six-time winner Power Drive is likely to lead and ran well over CD last month.

SURAC lacks a run and makes his all-weather debut but contests a winnable race and is a little unexposed, aged four. He competed well over hurdles last autumn and while beaten four times on the flat earlier in the summer, showed form from 3lb higher and today's rider now claims 7lb. He is closely matched on Arch Enemy on Gowran flat form last June but subsequently beat that rival by half a length over hurdles at Listowel and, notably, is now 19lb better off. Arch Enemy won here a fortnight ago but drops back in distance today. Reverberation has been running well but steps up in distance while Nevada Brave has useful recent course and distance form. Cometh The Man debuts for new connections who step him up markedly in distance.
