Six Strings returns to handicaps off a career-low mark after winning a classified stakes contest over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton recently, and isn't taken lightly in his current mood. Preference, however, is for NICK VEDDER, who has been staying on of late from wide draws and, with a lower draw now to his advantage, the Robyn Brisland inmate may find himself with less to do at the finish. Ballybaymoonshiner also looks capable of picking up a race like this.
Prediction : 1st Nick Vedder 2nd Six Strings 3rd Ballybaymoonshiner

Spring Promise is likely to prove popular after finishing second over this distance on her racecourse bow at Lingfield last month and, with improvement a distinct possibility, she's likely to be in the mix once more. SENESI, nevertheless, makes slightly more appeal on this step up in trip after staying on nicely on both occasions over 7f. Veil Of Shadows, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Impulsif, is the most intriguing of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Senesi 2nd Spring Promise 3rd Veil Of Shadows

PROBABLE seemed to appreciate a drop in trip on her last outing when finishing a much-improved second over this distance at Wolverhampton. Off the same mark, she looks capable of going one better in this, but the hat-trick seeking All Dunn sports first-time cheekpieces on his handicap bow and must be feared. Eight Mile is another to bear in mind.
Prediction : 1st Probable 2nd All Dunn 3rd Eight Mile

This could go the way of the Clive Cox-trained KINGDOM COME, who shed his maiden tag at the third time of asking over this C&D last month and looks set to follow that up on his handicap debut. Watermelon Sugar has gone up 1lb following a good second at Wolverhampton over 6f in December and can give the selection plenty to think about, while Chola Empire adds further spice to the race.
Prediction : 1st Kingdom Come 2nd Watermelon Sugar 3rd Chola Empire

A wide-open contest which could go the way of GIRLSWANNAHAVEFUN, who has looked to be on the improve, including winning nicely in the same class last time. The step up to 6f shouldn't pose her any problems, but another to consider closely is Beautiful Sunrise, who is making his handicap debut after finishing second behind some decent types and his opening mark could be workable. Daytona Lady looks likely to get a lot closer to Ignac Lamar based on their recent Southwell outing with a 6lb pull in the weights.
Prediction : 1st Girlswannahavefun 2nd Beautiful Sunrise 3rd Daytona Lady

Bluenose Belle won over C&D last time, making her challenge late to win, and she looks likely to be in contention in the finish despite a 4lb rise for that success. Arab Cinder looks an interesting contender making his first start for the Michael Appleby stable after finishing a solid staying-on second over 1m4f here on her last run. However, preference is for HOW HARD CAN IT BE as she won this race last year off a 1lb lower mark and looked to be returning to form when a half-length second over C&D last time.
Prediction : 1st How Hard Can It Be 2nd Bluenose Belle 3rd Sids Annie

WINKLEVI has been in very good form lately, finishing in the the top two on each of his last three outings. He was just held off 1lb lower on his last start at Wolverhampton last week and looks poised to go one better in a similar contest today. Yagan tries a different type of headgear this time with first-time blinkers and after just missing the frame at Newcastle last time, he could hit it this time around following a 1lb pull in the ratings. Elmejor looks the best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Winklevi 2nd Yagan 3rd Elmejor
