Veil Of Shadows, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Impulsif, is the most intriguing of the newcomers.

Daytona Lady looks likely to get a lot closer to Ignac Lamar based on their recent Southwell outing with a 6lb pull in the weights.

Bluenose Belle won over C&D last time, making her challenge late to win, and she looks likely to be in contention in the finish despite a 4lb rise for that success. Arab Cinder looks an interesting contender making his first start for the Michael Appleby stable after finishing a solid staying-on second over 1m4f here on her last run. However, preference is for HOW HARD CAN IT BE as she won this race last year off a 1lb lower mark and looked to be returning to form when a half-length second over C&D last time.

Yagan tries a different type of headgear this time with first-time blinkers and after just missing the frame at Newcastle last time, he could hit it this time around following a 1lb pull in the ratings. Elmejor looks the best of the remainder.
