Quercus Robur has to be respected having won 2 of his last 3 now but the handicapper applies more pressure and off a career-high mark this is going to take a big performance to win again. There is little value in his price at 2/1 so I’m going to chance EASY EQUATION to come out on top. He also arrives off the back of a career best and that came over C&D 10 days ago. He travelled notably well through the race and once switched out was always coming home best. I liked the way the field was well strung out and if he turns up in that sort of form again up just 3lb he is sure to run well. Aidan Keeley clearly has a good partnership with him now and claims a valuable 5lb off his back. Tiger Spirit found herself back in the winners enclosure over track and trip last time and is fairly lightly raced so she is another one that needs plenty of consideration.
