I think it could pay to forgive ABRUZZO MIA that poor run at Southwell last month. That was a fiercely competitive handicap and he failed to perform as expected. He never really looked like picking up and is clearly better than what he showed there. His run before that over C&D was encouraging going down just a head on handicap debut and a pound lower here this son of Bated Breath may well get back in the winners enclosure. He has only had a handful of starts so remains open to further improvement and looks worth chancing at 5/1. Anif is favourite and the danger having got caught too far back when closing fast for third in the race the selection disappointed in last time. He has been on the go since the summer though and that busy schedule will likely catch up with him at some point. Abnaa won twice over this trip at Southwell before disappointing last time but is also respected.
