FEDDANS is dependable and has good recent form. She concedes an 8lb penalty but has run well in defeat in useful hurdles recently and while lightly-raced with all her form being on deep ground, has the ability to win. Ground-versatile Roccos Inspiration is no star but has useful bits of form and is helped by receiving 13lb from the selection. Broomfield Bijou has been beaten long distances in her hurdle runs but has defeated plenty horses and contests a lesser race, receiving weight from previous winners. Crossgales Ophelia was well held by the selection when last seen in October and while useful at best, runs in a first-time tongue-tie on reappearance. Apples In Winter was well beaten by a smart type here last month and has some place claims.
Prediction : 1st Feddans 2nd Roccos Inspiration 3rd Broomfield Bijou

Strong-travelling FEU DU BRESIL is an enigma but had a veterinary excuse following last month's course defeat. Runner-up at Auteuil on his only French run before returning following a mammoth four-year absence last Christmas, he looked all over a winner here in January before fading quickly. However he returned 'showing signs of overheating and had a delayed recovery post race' and while not one to trust, has ability. Lightly-raced Gorgeous Suspect's form this season is a fraction below last term's level but has run with promise, wearing his customary hood. He is absent for 67 days but is suited by this distance and is ground-versatile. Point-to-point winner Kudasheva disappointed at Limerick but might be suited by a return to a sound surface. Clodders Dream showed ability at Punchestown but needs to improve to win while Captains Nephew has some bits of form.
Prediction : 1st Feu Du Bresil 2nd Gorgeous Suspect 3rd Kudasheva

SEARCH FOR GLORY is a maiden but has strong form and shaped like a stayer over Christmas. The Leopardstown winner scored at Grade 1 level subsequently while the fourth horse won his next race by 35 lengths. The selection holds an Albert Bartlett entry and can improve at this longer distance. Corbetts Cross won easily from his 130 rating last month and is ideally suited by three miles. He debuts for a new trainer and can continue to progress but drying ground is a concern. Hiddenvalley Lake is similarly suited by this distance and won a December Grade 3. Today's race has been his plan since, but he concedes a 6lb penalty. Walk In The Brise showed improvement over this distance at Cork but faces a tougher task. Monty's Star has maiden hurdle form and has plenty on his plate. Granny Lowrie runs in a first-time tongue-tie.
Prediction : 1st Search For Glory 2nd Corbetts Cross 3rd Hiddenvalley Lake

Experienced pointer FIERY BROWN bumped into a well handicapped winner on handicap debut last month. She should cope with a 2lb rise with today's rider claiming 5lb, against 4lb at Limerick, and has form on a sound surface. I Sea The Moon was pulled up on her 409-days reappearance in December but should improve. She notably finished second to a horse now rated 42lb higher over today's course and distance in October 2021. Warm In Gorey ran well over C&D in December but was well held on a recent outing and runs in a first-time tongue-tie. April point-to-point winner Getaway Train's hurdles form is underwhelming but can benefit from a recent handicap debut. Banada Bride disappointed on a recent run but had previously shown form at this level. Bumper-placed Magic Conqueror contests her first handicap while Mahlers Cove runs in a first-time tongue-tie. Lakomet Of Saints was eased at Tramore, when beaten 75 lengths.
Prediction : 1st Fiery Brown 2nd I Sea The Moon 3rd Getaway Train

PANA TO MILAN dead-heated to win at 50/1 at Fairyhouse and remains somewhat unexposed. Her prior form was poor and she drops back in distance but is open to further improvement being a five year old. Stablemate Crowsatedappletart was beaten 30 lengths into second over course and distance last month (beating Shean Glory) and had previously shown reasonable ability at Limerick during Christmas, with that form working out well. Four-year-old point-to-point winner Little Token's form is quite in-and-out but ran well recently and won over course and distance last March (beating Shean Glory). Pharisees was beaten 27 lengths during Christmas but has shaped well on occasions and contested a useful course handicap in October. Caoimhes Pet disappointed at Limerick but had previously shown ability at this level.
Prediction : 1st Pana To Milan 2nd Crowsatedappletart 3rd Little Token

WEST BREEZE has recent form and ran well at today's same grade, here in January. He was giving vain chase to now 149-rated Final Orders when falling at the last at Cork in October and his form since has been consistent. Lovely Reaction won on handicap debut recently and while open to more progression, is nonetheless 9lb higher. Doyouthinkso was well held on chase debut recently and while 7lb higher than when winning over hurdles in October, today's vastly experienced rider claims a valuable 7lb. Hi Ski steps up in distance having been well held by a capable winner at Limerick while Londonofficecallin was well held at Cork in December but had earlier form. Returning Battle Of Benburb will appreciate drying ground while Tennesse Titan is interesting on handicap debut, having won a November point-to-point. Handicap debutante Drumderry Harlem ran well in an unplaced maiden when last seen.
Prediction : 1st West Breeze 2nd Lovely Reaction 3rd Doyouthinkso

WHISKEYWEALTH won in fine style at Tramore and can confirm placings with runner-up Golf Marin, despite being 7lb worse off. The selection, who debuts for a new yard, would ideally prefer easy ground, which is a concern, but won over course and distance over hurdles in 2021. That recent Tramore run was 14-race-maiden Golf Marin's chase debut and while again well held by the winner at Fairyhouse subsequently, had plenty rivals in behind and is ground-versatile. Joy Of Life won on chase debut at Cork and should get involved on handicap debut. Bonnie Kellie has good form here and should compete, while Jakes Dream finished three-and-a-half lengths behind her here in January.
Prediction : 1st Whiskeywealth 2nd Golf Marin 3rd Bonnie Kellie

CONNA COTTAGE fell on chase debut but had previously run well in a point-to-point. He easily won a December course unplaced horses' maiden hurdle, was in contention when falling at Fairyhouse and drops to a winnable race. Ideal Pal was possibly held by the falling selection in that Fairyhouse race and while rated 116 over hurdles and a six-time flat winner, is by a sprinting stallion and tries this longer distance for the first time. Harvey's Quay, also rated 116 over hurdles, was beaten 85 lengths in that Fairyhouse race and steps up in distance. Old Soul might prefer further but won over hurdles in December and ran well on chase debut. Hurdle winner Queen Jane receives a useful mares' allowance but debuts over fences. Pats Choice needed to be cajoled along at Down Royal while Willywampus, a 20-race maiden, returns from a mini-break on debut for new connections. Donnrua Dream is long absent.
Prediction : 1st Conna Cottage 2nd Ideal Pal 3rd Harveys Quay
