Kinondo Kwetu hasn't looked back since going chasing in July, with five wins which have seen his mark go up 30lb in the process. He does, however, face his stiffest task to date off level weights now entering Grade 2 company and he may struggle to contain BOLD ENDEAVOUR, who is rated 8lb his superior. The Nicky Henderson charge has impressed in two wins since making his debut for the yard in December and he should take all the beating if seeing out the trip. Last-time-out winner Jay Jay Reilly completes the shortlist.

Cap Du Nord ran his best race of the season when finishing second in the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster and a 2lb rise in the ratings is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Marginal preference, however, is for REVELS HILL, who was last seen finishing fourth after being badly hampered in a class 2 event at Sandown and strikes as the type who could respond well to first-time cheekpieces. In-form duo Danny Kirwan and Laskalin are others to be interested in.

A case can be made for several of these, but marginal preference is for IRISH HILL. He defied a 6lb rise to secure a three-and-three-quarter-length victory over 2m4f at Fakenham last month and is fancied to land a hat-trick here, but French Listed winner Zoffany Bay would be dangerous to dismiss on his return following a 700-day break. Homme Public is another to bear in mind following his success at Huntingdon last month.

2021 Peterborough Chase winner First Flow has shown little in both subsequent starts, including when seven and a half lengths back in third behind PIC D'ORHY in this season's renewal. Paul Nicholls' inmate has since bolted up at Kempton last month and is expected to deliver another bold showing upped in grade. Fakir D'Oudairies was left in front after Haut En Couleurs came to grief at the last in a Grade 2 at Thurles but he's still considered along with Shishkin, who arrives in this following wind surgery and sporting a first-time tongue-tie.

This can go the way of ITSO FURY, who was runner-up to a subsequent winner at Taunton in November and should improve for the step up in trip. Jonjo O'Neill's charge has a particular liking for good ground and he can see off the likes of Apple Rock, who arrives here in terrific form, and the unexposed Ivaldi. A winner of three of his last four starts, Loup De Maulde is respected despite the rise in grade, while Thomas Mor is well capable on his day too.

A comfortable winner on her debut at Lingfield (all-weather), KAY TARA TARA is a well-bred mare who should have plenty more to offer despite a 4lb penalty. Golden Ace displayed a determined attitude to get her head in front at Wincanton and she arrives with strong claims, along with point-to-point recruit Between Waters. Our Nel ran with credit at Warwick and is likely to improve, while Politacus was somewhat unlucky not to get her head in front at Uttoxeter when storming home late in the day.
