Another impressive last-time-out winner was Planet Legend, who could have a say in proceedings.

Of the rest, Itchy Feet would be the pick after winning nicely at Huntingdon last time as he returned back to this sphere.

The admirable Bristol De Mai loves it here and is 5lb lower than when winning this race (promoted from second after the winner was disqualified) last year. Others to note are The Two Amigos and Small Present.

The son of Kayf Tara displayed a high level of form in novices last season and he returned from a 324-day absence to record a comfortable handicap success (from 5lb lower) at Plumpton 19 days ago. Gary Moore's charge remains unexposed and he ought to have more to offer. Others to note include Brandy Mcqueen and Onagatheringstorm.

Passing Well has the ability to make the frame in a race of this nature and could prove to be the main threat, ahead of Collectors Item and Makin'yourmindup.
