A trappy contest, despite the small field, with slight preference for MASTERS LEGACY, who may have disappointed here last time out but he has had wind surgery since and was a determined winner over C&D on his penultimate start. Gustavian is a player based on the pick of his form, even though he is winless since February 2021, while Fox Pro never got involved when third over track and trip but cannot be dismissed lightly.
Prediction : 1st Masters Legacy 2nd Gustavian 3rd Fox Pro

A return to hurdles can work the oracle for PRIME TIME LADY, who never went a yard on her chasing debut at Huntingdon last month. Never outside the first three in six starts over the smaller obstacles last year, Mel Rowley's charge may have too much for Midnight Callisto, who took a step back in the right direction when not beaten far at Southwell. Perfect Myth will need to improve to have a say in proceedings.
Prediction : 1st Prime Time Lady 2nd Midnight Callisto 3rd Perfect Myth

A respectable fourth on his latest start at Chepstow and a winner of a bumper at Sandown in the past, BUCKHORN ROCCO sets the standard in this moderate affair and can get off the mark over hurdles. Earth King offered a bit of encouragement here last time out, but the step up to an extended 2m5f looked to catch him out eventually so he should be much more at home over this distance. Rapid River can pick up the pieces if either of the main two falter.
Prediction : 1st Buckhorn Rocco 2nd Earth King 3rd Rapid River

FAVORI DE SIVOLA made every post a winning one over C&D on his penultimate outing and can be forgiven following a disappointing subsequent spin in heavy ground over 3m here. He remains 5lb above that last winning mark, but is given another chance. D'jango has to shoulder a 7lb penalty following an emphatic triumph at Lingfield last week but is still feared most, ahead of Gazette Bourgeoise.
Prediction : 1st Favori De Sivola 2nd Django 3rd Gazette Bourgeoise

15:45 Exeter

In a contest lacking depth, a chance can be taken on the Seamus Mullins-trained LOUDSPEAKER. A creditable performer on the Flat when with Michael Bell, he failed to get involved on his hurdling bow at Lingfield earlier in the month but is entitled to come on from that return off a break. Prince Rhinegold remains unexposed and shades the danger vote from Tout Paris.
Prediction : 1st Loudspeaker 2nd Prince Rhinegold 3rd Tout Paris

Sporting Ace has shown a good level of consistency throughout his career and needs to be high on the shortlist given that he was a good second over C&D three weeks ago. However, he's also been slightly expensive to follow and has another 2lb to shoulder this time so the unexposed KEABLE offers a tad more appeal as he starts out in handicaps from a very workable mark. Rocco also has to enter the equation off a handy rating.
Prediction : 1st Keable 2nd Sporting Ace 3rd Rocco

Grangeclare North hasn't shown much to get enthusiastic about, while Watching Over You was well held on debut at Huntingdon and probably needs more time. Therefore, it can pay to concentrate on All Guns Blazing, who has a stamina-laden pedigree, and HOUR STAR, who gets the nomination given that he is a brother to a 2m-2m3f bumper/hurdle winner and won't need to be out of the ordinary to get off the mark at the first time of asking.
Prediction : 1st Hour Star 2nd All Guns Blazing 3rd Grangeclare North
