THETYS had By Your Side a couple of lengths behind when a creditable fifth to Comfort Zone (subsequently won two Grade 2 races) in a 22-runner maiden at Navan back in November and was noted finishing well on her only outing since when making the frame in a Limerick handicap. She should be suited by this better ground. By Your Side is another for the shortlist as he lost a winning chance when blundering at the last over C&D a fortnight ago. Luminous Light appears reasonably treated following a number of promising runs in maidens, while Pont Audemer showed improved form when scoring in good style at Limerick last month but has been given a 16lb hike.
Prediction : 1st Thetys 2nd By Your Side 3rd Luminous Light

PERCY WARNER showed a decent level of form over hurdles scoring twice and the point-to-point winner made a bright start to handicap life over fences when beating all bar Aarons Day over C&D last month. He would have got closer but for a mistake at the last and should benefit from that experience. Barnacullia was placed in a Grade 2 novice earlier this season and rates a serious threat having finished well when runner-up to the progressive Final Orders in a valuable 2m1f handicap at Leopardstown last time. Limerick Lace won a Down Royal rated novice in decisive fashion last month and Aidan Kelly's 7lb claim will ease the burden of topweight. It Could Be You has plenty of handicap experience and can't be discounted.
Prediction : 1st Percy Warner 2nd Barnacullia 3rd Limerick Lace

REBEL GOLD appears better than ever this season and may upset a higher rated rival. The Pat Foley-trained gelding likes to race up with the pace and kept on strongly to beat Dunvegan by nine lengths in the valuable Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse last month with Battleoverdoyen back in fourth. Coeur Sublime hasn't always been the strongest finisher but was in front when falling at the last on his reappearance this term in a Grade 3 over C&D. He now takes a drop in class after filling third spot behind Blue Lord in a Grade 1 at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Battleoverdoyen held a career high mark of 160 but has been generally disappointing the past few seasons.
Prediction : 1st Rebel Gold 2nd Coeur Sublime 3rd Battleoverdoyen

FOUND A FIFTY made an impressive start over hurdles when readily beating the odds-on Parmenion in a maiden over this trip at Fairyhouse last month. The point-to-point winner has plenty of scope for improvement. Corbetts Cross has progressed well from point-to-points to land a bumper and two wins over hurdles for Eugene O'Sullivan. He was impressive last time over three miles at Fairyhouse but also has enough pace to rate a big threat over this distance for his new trainer. Lily Du Berlais, a smart mare in bumpers scoring twice including a Grade 2 at Leopardstown last year, is an interesting recruit to hurdles while Jackpot De Choisel and Walk With Paul both recorded easy wins last time and now step up in class.
Prediction : 1st Found A Fifty 2nd Corbetts Cross 3rd Jackpot De Choisel

BIALYSTOK didn't get home when making the running at Thurles last time and it would be no surprise to see more patient tactics employed here. The Zoffany gelding faded to finish fourth last time and his previous run in a strong race, when third to recent Grade 3 winner Sa Fureur, is probably stronger form. Innatendue has a mark of 120 and looks an obvious danger. He met trouble in running when seventh in a competitive handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival on his first outing for Tony Martin and back in maiden company now he could be a big player. Dual bumper winner Thecompanysergeant looks one to note on his jumping debut.
Prediction : 1st Bialystok 2nd Innatendue 3rd Thecompanysergeant

CARNFUNNOCK could be interesting here on his handicap debut. The Getaway gelding doesn't look harshly treated off a mark of 116 on just his third outing over timber. The dual bumper winner was an impressive winner on his hurdling debut at Ayr before chasing home Itswhatunitesus at Punchestown. His jumping let him down a touch last time and there looks plenty of scope for improvement. Hey Johnny wasn't beaten far when fifth to Gaelic Warrior in a strong event at the Dublin Racing Festival last time and he could be a big player here. Champion Green and Fortunedefortunata appeal most of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Carnfunnock 2nd Hey Johnny 3rd Champion Green

ILE ATLANTIQUE looked a smart prospect when winning on his first start for Willie Mullins at Leopardstown over Christmas and this is a nice stepping stone now for the Coastal Path gelding. The form of that race has received a boost since with the third horse, No Time To Wait, going on to win in some style at Down Royal. Gordon Elliott runs two in this and Stellar Story may prove the best of the duo. The Shantou gelding stepped forward nicely from his first run to win at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day and looks the type that will improve with racing. His stablemate Caldwell Potter disappointed slightly when last seen at Leopardstown over Christmas but that was in a strong race, won by Fascile Mode, and he can't be discounted.
Prediction : 1st Ile Atlantique 2nd Stellar Story 3rd Caldwell Potter
