French import IMPOSE TOI was a close second on his UK/hurdles debut in a similar race at Ludlow in early January but might well have been heading elsewhere on the back of a win had he taken the final flight a bit more smoothly. The experience will have done him the power of good and he is taken to go one better. Inchester D'amsyl is an obvious threat having finished runner-up at Huntingdon 15 days ago, while Knowwhentoholdem is respected on his own hurdles bow.
Prediction : 1st Impose Toi 2nd Inchester Damsyl 3rd Knowwhentoholdem

Forget You Not has won over fences here and, as he's unexposed at the trip, is dangerous to underestimate back over hurdles, while Caspers Court exploited a drop in the ratings to land a class 4 handicap at Wincanton 20 days ago and enters calculations now eased in grade. However, WEST ORCHARD had the race at his mercy until he uncharacteristically ran out at the penultimate obstacle at Fontwell last month and a more focused effort can see him quickly make amends.
Prediction : 1st West Orchard 2nd Forget You Not 3rd Caspers Court

HITITI showed a liking for this circuit when winning over an extended 2m on this card at last year's corresponding fixture and, having proved he has the stamina to cope with this trip with a respectable second in a similar race at Wincanton last month, he looks worth chancing. Sabrina runs for a powerful yard and shouldn't be too inconvenienced by today's drop in trip. She merits consideration alongside Iberio and Gladiateur Allen.
Prediction : 1st Hititi 2nd Sabrina 3rd Iberio

Having been narrowly denied on his second hurdles start in December, the Jonjo O'Neill-trained RED DIRT ROAD is fancied to gain compensation and go one better, with further improvement likely for the son of Fame And Glory. Issam took a step forward when finishing second at Ffos Las last month and a similar performance ought to see him on the premises. Thunderclap achieved a peak rating of 84 when trained on the Flat and he's one to note for market confidence ahead of his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Red Dirt Road 2nd Issam 3rd Thunderclap

BLUE SHARK has been raised 29lb in the handicap since his November Ffos Las success, notching four victories thereafter, and the gelded son of Shirocco might not have reached the peak of his powers just yet. Softening ground conditions might have played a part in Langley Hundred's below par effort at Warwick on New Year's Eve and he could return to form back on a sounder surface. Seymour Promise has been knocking on the door in recent starts and he merits a place on the shortlist, along with Armchair Farmer.
Prediction : 1st Blue Shark 2nd Langley Hundred 3rd Seymour Promise

PRINCE RHINEGOLD was a five-length winner over C&D last month and an opening mark of 88 would appear to be workable. Bryan Carver's mount was said to have been suited by the return to good ground that day and with conditions forecast to be similar here, he could follow up. Port Or Starboard looks to be well treated judged on past exploits and he could go well, along with Talimar Pearl, who makes his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Prince Rhinegold 2nd Port Or Starboard 3rd Talimar Pearl
