Lawney Hill has decided to send EVERYTHING’SONTICK to Plumpton on Monday instead of Market Rasen on Sunday. This does look the easier race of the two so hopefully that can prove significant. This son of Scorpion understandably hasn’t looked the most straight forward of horses and probably did well to win at Chepstow last year likely suited by some hurdles being omitted. He is a horse I have noted down that is likely to do better over fences in the future so it’s interesting they persevere in this discipline for now. I get the impression he was quite immature last season and if he has improved following a wind op he could easily be a horse to keep on side. Izzie Marshall claims a handy 7lb off his back and an opening mark of 120 now handicapping could prove lenient. Royal Sam looks the danger having finished runner-up at Leicester and Lingfield the last twice. Le Patron would also have to be respected.
