Breguet Boy is an obvious threat to the selection following his second over C&D last week, while Visitant edges out Coligone Kate and Odd Venture to be the pick of the remaining field.

Dubai Jeanius merits the utmost respect given his recent winning sequence but he could be vulnerable up in grade with a 5lb penalty. With that in mind, preference is for LEGENDARY DAY, who won over C&D when last seen on the Flat in January and he is only 3lb higher in the ratings here. Others to note are Muzaffar, Billy Bathgate and Brasca.

SILVER NIGHTFALL has filled second place in both starts since getting off the mark over 7f here in January and it would be no surprise to see her go one better here. Direct Hit was only narrowly denied over C&D last time and that form has been boosted with the third winning since, while Margaret's Fuchsia and Violeta could also go well.

KODIMAN showed ability with a good second on his debut in a 7f Southwell maiden last month and created the impression that a step up to a mile will ideally suit by doing his best work at the finish. With that experience to draw upon, he can go one better here. Afterwards and Elim have similar profiles and are respected, but a bigger threat might be posed by the well-bred debutant Bleak, whose dam was a dual Listed winner over this trip in France.

CAMACHO STAR resumes on a competitive mark and, having handled this surface well with two placed efforts from two previous visits, this low-mileage gelding can make it third-time lucky on Tapeta. Ok Pal is also respected after comfortably winning at this level at Southwell last month. Returning to this trip shouldn't be too much of an issue for him and he can go close given the progression he's made since being gelded. Bella Kopella and Na Scoitear are also considered.

Two Summers has a 140-day absence to overcome after gaining a first victory over this distance at Catterick in October and a 3lb rise doesn't appear insurmountable. Preference, however, is for FINAL ACCOUNT, who finished a solid second at Wolverhampton last Monday and Linda Stubbs' inmate looks the one to beat now turned out quickly off the same mark. Gunnerside arrives in better form than most and is another to note.

THE GREEN MAN escapes a penalty after winning an apprentice handicap at Kempton on Friday and the son of Acclamation will take some stopping off the same mark here. Bellagio Man is only 2lb higher than for his Southwell success last month and is feared most, while Another Investment and Swayze could have a say in proceedings if ready to roll, with the pair being given short breaks after their respective runner-up efforts in October.
