MILLDAM struggled in a handicap when last seen but his previous form in novice/maiden company suggests that he is more than capable of winning a race of this nature. SPACE VOYAGE was a very impressive 17-length winner over a subsequent scorer in a novice hurdle at Lingfield in January and, with Lewis Stones taking a handy 5lb off her back today, she could prove tough to beat. Benign Dictator, a stablemate of the selection, might prove to be the main danger based on his recent victory, while Soldier Of Destiny is another to note.

COREY'S COURAGE was far from disgraced off a 4lb higher mark over an extended 1m7f at Leicester last month, finishing fourth, and, back over further, she could take a step forward. Hillfinch is well treated judged on past exploits and she warrants respect. Mistral Lady didn't fire at Taunton last time, but she remains unexposed and it would be folly to write her off.

ENDURING LOVE has been knocking on the door ever since his arrival from Ireland and Olly Murphy's charge could get on the scoresheet if running to a similar level here. Alright Chief has reserved all of his best form for this venue and he's worthy of consideration, along with Spotty Dog, for all that he needs to bounce back having been pulled up at Chepstow 18 days ago.
