Only narrowly denied on his racecourse bow at Newmarket last October, ARABIAN STORM is fancied to make a winning all-weather debut off a short break. The form of the aforementioned contest looks to have worked out well, with the third, fourth and fifth-placed runners all scoring next time out, so Andrew Balding's inmate could take some beating here. Old Smoke could build on a decent third over C&D last month and is feared most, ahead of Nwaira.

A game winner over the extended mile at Wolverhampton on his latest outing, FURNITURE FACTORS looks set to follow up off 1lb higher now dropping fractionally in trip on his return to this track. He had been fairly progressive in the run-up to that contest and there could be more in his locker, but a first-time visor makes Galton of interest following a decent third over a mile at Southwell earlier this month. Urban Road completes the shortlist.

GRAND LIBYA arguably put in a career best when a close second in a first-time visor over C&D a month ago and a reproduction of that level of form would give him a big chance here, despite a 3lb rise. Vaccine is an obvious threat having also hit the crossbar over this track and trip last time, while Vindobala and Perfect Swiss complete the shortlist.

JUSTCALLMEPETE has not been beaten far off this mark on his last couple of starts and it would be no surprise to see him return to winning ways here. Walking On Clouds has been running consistently well in recent months and he has to be of some interest. Alexander James edges out Lord Rapscallion and Swiss Ace to be the pick of the remainder.

SOUTH DAKOTA SIOUX has been consistent since his introduction last October. The three-year-old has been kept busy since then and, having shown improvement with two placed efforts since being tried in headgear (cheekpieces retained here), he looks worth another chance to shine. Goose Rock was two and a quarter lengths behind the selection when they encountered each other at Chelmsford last month, but can get closer on 1lb better terms today. Artemis Flyer and the unexposed handicap debutant Exceed are others to consider.

The in-form ROCKLEY POINT was just denied a double when finishing with a rattle in a similar contest over this trip at Wolverhampton nine days ago and is taken to go one better off the same mark tonight. Blackcurrent wasn't far behind the selection that day and is again considered as shortllist material. Similar comments apply to Paddy K, who is very capable at this sort of level and looks well worth a try over the minimum trip, while Stroxx and Another Angel are others of note.
