He is respected now switching to hurdles, while a drop back in trip is likely to suit Home Sweet Highway.

A chance can be taken on MOROZOV COCKTAIL, who was second in this race last year off a 4lb higher mark and he has proved his stamina for this 4m trip. In addition, he ran with great credit when not beaten far at Bangor last time and was dropped a further 1lb for that effort. Glittering Love has been put up 3lb for only being beaten a head on heavy ground at Kelso latest but he could be one to see out this trip and go close. Camp Belan tries first-time cheekpieces which could unlock improvement.

He has been raised 5lb for that success but he did it nicely and the gelding is likely to face very similar conditions, which could make him tough to beat under Jack Quinlan. Lewa House finished behind a subsequent winner when a close-up fourth at Ayr last time and he has been dropped 1lb for that effort, which puts him in with a big shout. Another to consider is last-time-out winner Piaff Bubbles, who needs to prove he is as effective in these testing conditions.

Beat The Edge appreciated the return to a left-handed course when finishing third at Wetherby recently and is feared most with amateur William Easterby now on board to claim a handy 5lb. Ex S'elance arrives on the back of two victories between the flags last month and requires a market check now back under Rules for his chase debut.
