This is a fiercely competitive race but I do like LORD SNOOTIE at what appears to be a decent price. This Irish point winner showed bits and pieces of promise in his first 3 starts over hurdles but took a big step forward to make a winning handicap debut at Warwick in December. He looked to relish the stamina test on that occasion and with lots more to come now I think he could be one to keep on side. Collectors Item couldn’t have run much better without winning when denied on the bob at Haydock last month. An opening mark of 132 isn’t too harsh and he should run his race again. Trelawne is 2 from 3 over hurdles and that form from Ffos Las looks pretty solid. We haven’t seen him since November but if he is ready to fire fresh he is another one that you would expect to see in the finish here.
