This looks a competitive 0-130 handicap chase but preference goes to Maid O’Malley (best priced at 7/2) who can hopefully show improvement for a recent wind operation and the application of a tongue tie. The Stuart Coltherd trained ten-year-old was in good form last season with form figures of 2211 before falling at the Cheltenham Festival when still in contention in the Mares’ Chase.

Maid O’Malley has slightly disappointed on her three runs this season but those have been in better races and she now races in this handicap chase. The handicapper has dropped her 2lbs for her latest 3rd placed effort and she can hopefully get back to winning ways following a wind operation.
