Carbon King looks better than claimer material but is declared to run at Navan on Monday and in his possible absence, KNOCKNAGAPPAGH might win having shown form. Ground-versatile, she has often run well in defeat, ran well in a useful handicap at Leopardstown recently and has a light weight. Youralwaysdreamin beat Bal De Rio by 1.5 lengths to win a similar Limerick claimer in January and while 8lb worse off, is ideally suited by testing ground whereas six-time winner Bal De Rio fell, when trailing, on a recent chase run. Boothen Boy has run nowhere near his 125 rating since returning from a layoff this season. Emir Des Rots' best moments have been in claimers and while a course winner last September, would prefer better ground. Littel Flour has disappointed recently and runs in a first-time hood.Prediction : 1st Knocknagappagh 2nd Youralwaysdreamin 3rd Bal De Rio

READ TO RETURN's form over hurdles and fences is poor but has shown ability in the past. He has been beaten long distances recently but won a February 2022 point-to-point before running well in a bumper, and takes a big drop in grade today. Similarly Bocelli's Voice has point-to-point form but has been well held in Fairyhouse maiden hurdles. However he wasn't beaten far last time and can get involved. Starman, a half-brother to Laurina, debuted for Willie Mullins in 2021 and while he doesn't look entirely straightforward, has shaped reasonably well recently. Mister Twist was fourth in a weaker course unplaced maiden recently and is tried in first-time blinkers, with Unheralded (fifth) and Duncarrig (sixth) reopposing. Prediction : 1st Read To Return 2nd Bocellis Voice 3rd Starman

TRUST ME NATE has useful recent form and connections have found an eminently winneable race. He is no star but has run well in defeat in his career thus far and a reproduction of his latest course run, in a stronger race, would probably suffice. Skradin disappointed on bumper debut and while beaten 23 lengths here last month, shaped reasonably well. On a strict form line with Castle Field Boy, which has raced against both horses, he has a bit to find to beat the selection but is open to improvement. Kingsofthemidlands had flat form in the UK but has been well held over hurdles and looks a summer type. Manwal has some past flat form but was well beaten on hurdles debut. Robin Flower is fit from point-to-pointing while Criminal Mischief lives in Closutton but has yet to show form.Prediction : 1st Trust Me Nate 2nd Skradin 3rd Kingsofthemidlands

SHEAN GLORY could give directions to Clonmel and is in form. She has won just twice from 29 starts but is consistent and wasn't beaten far from 2lb lower earlier this month. Skip Mahler was third on bumper debut and while well held over hurdles, is interesting on handicap debut, dropping in grade. Do Whatever, a half-brother to Bellshill, also debuts in handicaps and while his form is poor, might eventually totally outclass these rivals although might prefer further. Pana To Milan won in January but disappointed behind the selection last month while Royal Rhythm drops markedly in distance. Kate Ill Know was well held on comeback in February but won on career debut here in 2021. Tingarran Express beat the selection in January but was well held subsequently and is an 11-race maiden. Pearlofflorida won a point for Shane Broderick and debuts in handicaps while nine year old Cahirmee ran well last month. Prediction : 1st Shean Glory 2nd Skip Mahler 3rd Do Whatever

JOHNGUS is thoroughly frustrating but ran well at Limerick nine days ago. A 24-race maiden, he won a point-to-point last December and while his form is in-and-out, bumped into useful hunter Ultimate Optimist at Christmas and might possibly have benefitted from dropping in distance in a better race at Limerick recently. Course handicap hurdle winner Rolly Bowley Boy has consistent winter form and while he debuts over fences, will be well schooled. Karen's Gift also debuts over fences but is experienced with winning point-to-point form and has a light weight. Lord Gillygooley runs over an inadequate distance on fences debut while lightly-raced Clounts Pride would also prefer further. Speed Gang fell on fences debut and jumped left when pulling up at Punchestown, which is a concern again racing right-handed today.Prediction : 1st Johngus 2nd Rolly Bowley Boy 3rd Karens Gift

BACHASSON returns following 749 days off, aged 12, but it is encouraging connections have persevered. A smart 15-time winner who is ideally suited by today's conditions, he might retain enough class to win this race, where reliable form is thin. Batcio returns from 347 days off and while a year younger and having finished second in the Topham Chase in April, would prefer better ground and is likely to have that Aintree race as an upcoming target. Galmoy Hurdle-third My Design is greatly helped by being race-fit but steps up markedly in grade from a course and distance success on fences debut. Bois De Clamart also has recent form and is ideally suited by testing ground and middle distances but might bump into one or two too strong. Top weight Grand Paradis' chasing career has been blighted by poor jumping while Spyglass Hill needs to return to form.Prediction : 1st Bachasson 2nd Batcio 3rd My Design

HE'S MY HERO hasn't run for 352 days but may have been kept in cold storage and could be useful. A half-brother to a Grade 2 winner, he was second on point-to-point debut last April when making the winner (subsequently sold for 400,000 pounds) work hard, with the third horse winning a bumper subsequently. Barry O'Neill is a positive booking and connections have seemingly opted to preserve his novice hurdle status for next season. Find A Fortune was a 47,000 pounds purchase following his point-to-point debut for Eoghan O'Grady. That form has worked out well and he too should run well on racecourse debut. Castlebawn North, a half-brother to a Paddy Power Chase winner, weakened tamely in a smart Leopardstown bumper but returns from a break and could improve if settling better. Talk In The Park ran well behind an easy winner on debut and will be fine on testing ground while Cato's Revenge and Great Universe have form but need to improve.Prediction : 1st Hes My Hero 2nd Find A Fortune 3rd Castlebawn North
