She looks the best alternative, followed closely by Bold As Love, Queenie St Clair and Brasilian Princess.

I AM SUPERMAN was a dual Group 2 winner in Australia and he was only beaten a head in a Group 1 on heavy ground on his final start there in September. The seven-year-old was then third in a Group 2 over a mile in the UAE in January and he was not disgraced on either of his subsequent starts. The handicapper has given him a big chance off 106 on his return to Ireland. UK raiders Totally Charming and Lattam both merit plenty of respect, while Star Harbour and Current Option are others to note.

Agartha has to give away a 3lb penalty following her victory at Tipperary in August when benefiting from a drop in class after her spin in the Belmont Oaks. She ran with credit when second to Homeless Songs on her return last season, but she may face a tough challenge in fending off INSINUENDO. Given some stiff tasks last season, Willie McCreery's mare acquitted herself with plenty of credit against some very smart individuals and this appeals as an excellent opportunity for her to get back to winning ways. Kerkiyra won a valuable handicap here on Irish Champions Weekend and remains open to further improvement.

SHADOWED may have disappointed when a short-priced favourite at Dundalk last November, but the form of his previous efforts when finishing behind the subsequent Beresford winner and then this year's Derby favourite is particularly strong. He looks set to make a big challenge on his return and is taken to see off the likes of Broadhurst, who showed promise on debut but has a 315-day absence to overcome, and Livio Milo, a narrow second at Leopardstown when last seen. Miami Thunder can put his match-fitness to good use, while Frazil and Bright Legend appeal most of the newcomers.

In a wide-open contest, a tentative vote goes to LOFOTEN. The lightly-raced son of Frankel hasn't shown much so far, but he's bred to be far better than a mark of 57 and with Colin Keane aboard for the first time, it would be no surprise were he to take a marked step forward. Starting Monday is only 1lb higher than when winning this two years ago, while Search For Thestar could improve for the addition of first-time blinkers. The remainder are headed by Storm Eric and Khafaaq.

Last year's winner Mogwli arrives here off a 3lb lower rating and the six-year-old isn't taken lightly in his repeat bid. Preference, however, is for his stablemate CNODIAN, who likely found her latest effort here in October coming too soon. Willie McCreery's mare is best judged on her previous runner-up efforts at this venue and she looks more than capable of picking up a race of this nature. Queen's Pardon has been cut some slack by the handicapper and is another to note, ahead of Senor Carrots, who could be suited by this return to 6f.
