Flame Of Kodiac will probably be popular here for John Gosden but she hasn’t been screaming out for a step up in trip and she might be overbet here on handicap debut. I prefer CLIMATE PRECEDENT for Michael Bell. This son of Ulysses didn’t exactly pull down any trees on handicap debut at Southwell but the step up in trip didn’t really suit and he still retains potential dropping back down to a mile on a track that will suit better. A mark of just 64 should be well within reach and with Oisin Murphy in the saddle again he looks good value. Evolicatt has been on the go a while but she is at least holding her form well so I think she’ll probably run her race again. The visor goes back on and my gut feeling is she’ll find an improver too good. Lady Bianca looked a bit one paced on handicap debut at Newcastle but it obviously remains early days.
