LAKOTA BLUE faced a stiff test against some potentially high-class operators in the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York when he was last seen and makes strong appeal on his all-weather/handicap debut. He's up in trip and, with his yard in flying form, this son of Sioux Nation can get back to winning ways. Kitai has a similar profile and she is another taken seriously, while Little Edi won over C&D last month and can also go well.

Mount Athos is unexposed and is interesting on his return in what will be only his second start in a handicap, while four-time Group 2 winner Sir Dancealot represents the other end of the spectrum and has to be considered.
