It will be interesting to see how this market shapes come post time but even so I’m confident MR BEAUFORT can go close here. We haven’t seen this son of Cable Bay since he won at Goodwood way back in September on final start for Tom Clover. He has since switched hands and how with David O’Meara could have a fair bit more to come. He won his sole start to date on the AW at Wolverhampton last year and after just 6 starts brings a fair bit of potential to the table. A handicap mark of 78 should be well within reach and given we know he can fire fresh 11/2 looks very appealing at the time of writing. Mayson filly Angle Land has won 3 of her last 4 now and looks the obvious danger if improving again. She is 4lb higher but is clearly thriving so should run her race. 4-time course winner Justcallmepete is another one that should get involved despite dropping back in trip.
