Both Toplight and My Boy Jack both hold strong claims in this 0-55 handicap but I am willing to take a chance on Sympathise (best priced at 66/1) on her handicap debut. The lightly raced five-year-old finished well beaten on her first three starts at 66/1, 200/1 and 80/1 when trained by Paul George but she now makes her handicap debut off an opening mark of 45.

Sympathise has joined the Victor Dartnell stable who are currently in good form (2-4 50% strike rate in the last 14 days) and she is interesting on her return from 389 days off the track. She is well drawn in Stall 2 and with Rhiain Ingram taking off a further 3lbs then she should run well with four places on offer despite racing from 1lb out of the handicap.

Sympathise - 0.5pts e/w @ 66/1

The Gary Moore trained Sausalito (best priced at 10/11) has won all five of his starts since being fitted with a visor and he should hold strong claims of completing a remarkable five-timer. The four-year-old started off his winning sequence at Chelmsford over 1m2f before winning his previous three starts all at Lingfield.

Sausalito won his penultimate start over 1m4f by a neck before following up in style last time by 1 ¼ lengths despite being eased at the finish. Connections have booked talented 7lb claimer Alec Voikhasnky to negate some of his 5lb penalty and I expect him to prove hard to beat.

Sausalito - 1pt @ 10/11

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but preference goes to the Robert Cowell trained Angle Land (best priced at 4/1) who handled the step up in class last time with a victory off 4lbs lower. The four-year-old has been a revelation since the application of a visor and she has form figures of 33221121 in this headgear with the only blip in her recent form coming in blinkers rather than a visor.

Angle Land won over this course and distance in January off a mark of 72 under Daniel Muscutt before finishing a close 2nd on her next start under Hayley Turner off a mark of 75. She got back to winning ways last time at Chelmsford under Muscutt and she should hold strong claims off a 4lb higher mark with Daniel Muscutt (2/2 on her in her career) retaining the ride.

Angle Land - 0.5pts e/w @ 4/1
