The market has this between the top pair and I prefer the one at a slightly bigger price in GAYE LEGACY to come out on top. This Flemensfirth mare didn’t show a great deal in her first 3 starts but she improved plenty at Warwick last time being nailed on the line to go down just a nose. She ideally needs further in time but if she improves again then she will be a danger to all in here. Magical Maggie is the obvious danger as the betting is suggesting. She was smart in bumpers winning 2 from 3 and then impressed making a winning debut over hurdles at Uttoxeter. She has been beaten twice since but in good races and she will find this easier. Stopherandgo made the breakthrough at Wincanton last time and that form has been franked but I’m not certain she is going to be able to back that up.

Another race where I think it is between the top pair in the betting and again I’m siding with the one at a slightly bigger price in D DAY ODETTE. This Lawman filly really impressed beating a good yardstick in Sundayinmay over a mile and a quarter here back in January and that wasn’t a bad effort at all when third at Kempton. She had Rikona in behind that day so looks to hold that filly on that form. Back at this venue and up to a mile and a half now I think we’ll see a big run. Hopefully she’ll handle the preliminaries well and settle during the race as if she does I think she’ll be a cut above. Arenas Del Tiempo has bags of speed and will go forward but with Miss Down Under also liking to race handily they might take each other on which would be an ideal scenario.
