I know they thought PARMENION was going to be a Supreme horse and while that project didn’t go to plan he has clearly just needed more time to come into his own. He was really impressive winning a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown by 14 lengths and with more to come may well prove up to this task. This trip looks ideal and he obviously remains unexposed so I think he is worth keeping on side. Deep Cave bumped into Absolute Notions on hurdles debut and then improved to beat Lot Of Joy. He ran well when fifth to Good Land at the DRF and is the likely danger. Doctor Bravo was midfield in the Supreme behind Marine Nationale and could have more to come but this is pretty competitive tough so he might just come up short once more.

I thought Jason Hart gave KODEBREAKER a cracker over a mile here last month and under similar tactics here he could follow up. He can be keen but was settled beautifully and came through strongly under hands and heels before running on well. The drop back to 7f won’t inconvenience and if in the same form up just 2lb he will take a bit of beating. Written Broadcast beat Brazen Arrow at Wolverhampton and then was only denied a head over a mile here last time so looks the danger as that is pretty solid form. Lord Cherry needs everything to drop right but that is what happened last time and if getting similar luck would also be a player. Elladora ran well when second at Newcastle on return but needs more even with the cheekpieces back on.
