Having won three similar races since early February, Cyclop is respected at this level and should be capable of launching another bold bid. However, the relatively lightly-raced SENIOR CITIZEN has the ability to cope at this level and looks worth chancing in his bid to atone for a rare below-par effort at Exeter on his latest start. The form line through Boldmere from his penultimate race suggests Alan King's gelding could take some stopping if he is back on song.

Janika would hold outstanding claims if back to the form which saw him finish a respectable fourth in a handicap at Ascot in November, but he does have something to prove having since put in a below-par effort at Kempton in December and in a point-to-point in February. With that in mind, FIRAK is the safe play. The eight-year-old romped home at Warwick recently and is evidently on good terms with himself. Twilight Girl is another to note.

MISTRAL MILLY shaped with promise when staying on into a never-nearer fourth on her debut at Ascot in February and, with that experience likely to stand her in good stead, Alan King's four-year-old gets the vote. Omaha Wish is also open to improvement having finished third on her Rules bow at Warwick in the same month and she's feared most ahead of Scarlet O'tara, who was recently runner-up in a similar contest at Musselburgh.
