Dancing Goddess is the choice of champion jockey William Buick and she could pose the most serious challenge ahead of stablemate Rainbow Sky.

SLIPOFTHEPEN could hardly have been more impressive when winning over C&D on his racecourse debut, and the Night Of Thunder colt is fancied to follow up with improvement on the cards. Royal Rhyme left it late to get up over 7f at Thirsk 210 days ago and it would be no surprise were he to progress upped in trip, while any market support for the John Butler-trained Azeezan ahead of his first start should be noted.

SIMPLY SONDHEIM defied a 176-day absence when getting up to win over C&D recently and yet another success may be on the cards for George Boughey's four-year-old. Sir Rumi recently made a pleasing return to action when runner-up at Doncaster and he isn't taken lightly now switched to the all-weather. Capital Theory and Prydwen both have career-high marks to overcome, but they can't be dismissed.

LAUREL was last seen finishing a cracking second in the Sun Chariot at Newmarket in October and she should have too much class for her rivals on her return to action. Life Of Dreams posted some creditable efforts in defeat last season, but she may find this drop in trip to 1m on the sharp side, so a bigger threat may emerge from Sound Angela, who remains unbeaten on the all-weather.

NAVAL COMMANDER has performed well in defeat over C&D the last twice and looks set for another bold bid. He's only 3lb higher than his last success and could be a safer option than Excel Power, who ran too bad to be true at Newcastle when last seen in January but would have strong claims if back on song. Sir Dancealot continues to slide down the ratings and is beginning to look feasibly treated again.

Prop Forward returns from a layoff and would be a big player if picking up in the same form as when last seen in August, but preference is for the match-fit BADRI. He wasn't beaten far when bidding for a 5f hat-trick at Lingfield last month and shaped as though this step back up in trip would suit when finishing fast that day. Ingra Tor has been running well in defeat, while Fernando Rah can improve for a promising seasonal debut in February.
