Despite being sent off at 14/1 SPIRIT OF BOWLAND won readily at Newcastle last month. He was keen enough too but came through strongly to win well clocking a career best in the process. The second Elladora made all next time out to frank the form and stepping back up to a mile should really suit too judging by the way he finished last time. A big field should help him settle and if he gets the gaps then he looks sure to go close. Non Mollare impressed winning well on penultimate start and was then pitched into a tough race at Bath last time. She is better than what she showed there though and it wouldn’t surprise me if she emerged as the danger. Egoiste is lightly raced and could improve following a break and a wind op so watch how he goes in the betting.
