Shaladar is another to note if picking up where he left off in 2022.

A lot hinges on the well-being of ROYAL SYMBOL on this belated comeback, with Charlie Appleby's gelding having accounted for a smart field on his debut at Kempton back in December 2021. He will take all the beating if returning in the same form and requires close attention in the betting. Bringbackmemories has some solid Flat form in Ireland, while Wolverhampton fourth Peace Man could be dangerous. Bystander has twice been sold for six-figure sums so is worth more than a cursory glance.

It's safe to say the James Ferguson yard has hit the ground running this season, and GLORIOUS LION could be set to add to that tally. There was little to separate Aone Ally (winner) and BENADALID (second) when the pair met at Doncaster's Lincoln meeting, but the latter is a bit better off at the weights and is fancied to reverse that form en route to victory. Flag Of Truth makes some appeal ahead of his handicap debut, while Baikal showed plenty of ability when trained by Kevin Ryan and is another to be interested in on his second start for the Adam West team.
