I am keen to chance the unexposed THREE CARD BRAG resuming his progress at Punchestown on Wednesday. That neck defeat to Inthepocket looks much stronger form now and he was impressive at Fairyhouse winning by 12 lengths. He could only finish fifth in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham last month but the trip probably just stretched him at this stage of his career. Back down to 2 and a half here should prove ideal and he remains a horse with considerable potential. He is said to have come out the race well and with further improvement on the cards he should go very well here. Sandor Clegane is favourite at the time of writing and did finish in front of the selection at Cheltenham but he wouldn’t be a certainty to confirm those placings back in trip. Senior Chief skipped Cheltenham but arrives on a hat-trick and is also feared.

The money was down for OUR LAURA B on handicap debut at Newcastle last month and she made no mistake winning easily despite running green in the closing stages. She still has a lot to learn so if progressing should be capable of defying a 6lb rise here. The slight step up in trip will help further if anything and I think 7/2 at the time of writing looks generous. Never No Trouble looks a danger but her jumping let her down badly when finishing tailed off behind Bonttay at Kelso last time. Maid Of The Night also had jumping issues taking a tumble at Ffos Las when last seen so that would also be concerning but if bouncing back she’d have a squeak too. Atjima won nicely at Ffos Las but was well held last time and is going to need to find further improvement to get the better of the selection here and is priced accordingly.
