Steve Ryder is back with three tips from today's racing action.
15:00 Epsom
This looks a competitive 0-105 handicap but preference goes to course specialist Soto Sizzler (best priced at 8/1). The Gary Moore trained eight-year-old has form figures of 112212 at Epsom including a victory in this race last year off a mark of 99. Following an indifferent end to the season, he has dropped back down to this mark of 99 which should mean he is competitive in this race.
Soto Sizzler will have no doubt needed the run on his reappearance/stable debut earlier this month following a 183 day break and I expect him to run well with up to four places on offer.
16:00 Ffos Las
Big Ambitions is of interest on his handicap debut but preference instead goes to the David Pipe trained Bumpy Johnson (best priced at 15/4). The seven-year-old had previously been running well in handicap hurdles before winning on his first run after a wind operation over this course and distance in February off a mark of 113.
Bumpy Johnson finished a neck 2nd at Exeter earlier this month off a mark of 117 under Jack Tudor and he should hold strong claims off only a 3lb higher mark.
20:00 Wolverhampton
The Charlie Fellowes trained Young Endless (best priced at 9/2) steps up in trip on handicap debut following a break and he could prove well handicapped off an opening mark of 57. The four-year-old finished well beaten in three novice/maiden races last year over 1m2f and 1m4f when sent off 80/1, 100/1 and 80/1.
Young Endless now steps up in trip to 2m½f on his handicap debut following 262 days off the track and that is significant seeing as he is a brother to a 2 mile AW winner. Connections also fit him with first time cheekpieces (his brother wore a visor) and he looks worth taking a chance on off a mark of 57.
