The winning spree may have come to an end for SOUL ICON last time but given his lightly raced profile he could still be open to further improvement and might be worth backing to bounce back. That turned into a bit of a gruelling race in soft ground at Aintree last time and a mistake at the very first flight always had him on the back foot. With that under his belt he should be a lot sharper now and in an easier race on what could be better ground he still has potential off his current mark. Hardy Du Seuil beat Iceo at Sandown back in January which is obviously decent form before finishing midfield in the Imperial Cup behind the latter. He was held up that day and just never landed a blow. He was back to form when second to Albert’s Back at Wetherby clear from the rest and looks the danger but no juice in his price. Shared should have more to come and also enters calculations.
