I am keen to side with the improving CRYSTAL DELIGHT for the opener on Guineas day. This New Approach colt hasn’t done a lot wrong so far making the breakthrough impressively on debut for this yard at Lingfield back in December. He has been beaten twice since but clocked some decent speed figures in the process and given he remains thoroughly unexposed over a mile and a half there is good reason to think better is still to come. This test should suit him well and I expect him to be finishing strongly. Teumessias Fox obviously won easily at Kempton on return back in March but he has been hit with a 10lb rise back on turf and that could be a bit harsh so I don’t think there is much value in his price. Capital Theory has fitness on side but has been on the go a while and he’ll need to handle a quick turnaround here again. Moktasaab might be a bigger danger as he has gone very well fresh before.
