The lightly raced KINCARDINE was back to his best at Exeter last month. He had pulled up twice earlier in the season but a combination of wind surgery, cheekpieces and dropping back to 2 miles saw him bounce back. He made all the running and always looked in his comfort zone. He didn’t jump amazing so there is room for improvement and a 4lb rise shouldn’t be enough to prevent him following up. I’d have him favourite over Lipa K so the 9/2 on offer at the time of writing looks a decent play. The latter is also unexposed and did win with a bit in hand at Warwick but this is tougher and those patient tactics might not be seen to best effect here. Socialist Agenda was out of form when last seen but has had a wind op and a break now and better can be expected. He has never won fresh before though so might come on for the outing.
