The improving YORKSHIRE could make a mark of just 83 look lenient on handicap debut. This Harry Angel colt has won 2 from 3 so far and quickened up like a good horse to narrowly prevail over 6f at this track last time. No surprise to see him up to 7f here given how he hit the line the last day and with more to come he could easily complete the hat-trick here under Callum Rodriquez. A Taste Of Honey has also won her last two and impressed at Lingfield last time so could be the danger but will need to step forward again. Odin Owns You All is a work in progress and I wouldn’t judge him too harshly on that defeat at Wolverhampton last time. He is definitely a colt I have on my radar going forward so no surprise if he asks a few questions of the selection. Choisya didn’t do much wrong as a 2yo and is another to note in a good race.

Some nice colts lining up for the Dee Stakes and it is usually won by a useful horse. ALDER could fit the bill this year for Joseph O’Brien. This son of Australia really came into his own upped to this trip at Cork last time where he hit the line hard to win with a bit to spare. He is improving all the time and while this is another step up contesting Listed company he is a colt I want to keep on side. He holds plenty of fancy entries including one in the Derby next month so connections will be hopeful of a big run here. Local Dynasty won 3 from 4 as a 2yo and looked very classy over a mile. He steps up in trip now but needs to prove he can be as effective over it. He handles ground with cut in it though so has to be feared. Dubawi colt San Antonio impressed at Dundalk but he’ll need to leave that behind to win this. Passenger impressed at Newmarket and could emerge as the main danger for Stoute.
