Following a wind op it would be no surprise to see SWAPPED take a big step forward for Nicky Henderson. This horse looked promising in bumpers and while things haven’t quite gone to plan over hurdles so far it remains early days and things will click sooner rather than later. He wasn’t given a hard time when last seen at Plumpton and given time since now sent handicapping he could show much improved form up to 2 and a half miles for the first time. The danger is probably last time out winner Issar D’airy who impressed getting on top at this track last month and probably isn’t done improving yet so a 6lb rise might be manageable. William Of York is on a hat-trick but a further 5lb rise up against a couple of fellow improvers asks a few more questions. Great Ocean isn’t running badly either so no surprise if he is in there pitching for a long way.
