No Nay Never colt FLORIDA looks a nice prospect for William Haggas and connections will be hopeful he can make a winning return at Haydock on Saturday. He was very much a work in progress as a 2yo but capped off the season with a nice win on the AW at Kempton despite having raced keenly early on. He has more to come especially back up to a mile on handicap debut and could be one to keep on side today and going forward. James Mchenry is a good looker who impressed winning on return at Ripon last month. He was well backed on that occasion and even up 5lb looks most likely to give the selection something to think about. Of the rest Feel The Need ran well following a gelding operation to finish second on reappearance at Beverley last month and is another to note with further improvement to come.

There are some nice fillies lining up for this so it certainly isn’t a given but I really like the chances of BE HAPPY for Aidan O’Brien. This Camelot filly looked potentially exciting winning on debut at Cork last year but failed to live up to market expectation only finishing third at the Curragh on second start. She was pitched into Group company but looked one paced in the closing stages. I did think at the time she was better than that and I thought she was an eye-catcher on return in France finishing third at Saint-Cloud. She has been crying out for this step up to a mile and a half and we should see a much improved performance. Eternal Hope was an eye-catcher on debut and improved to win at Chelmsford on second start. Put away since she brings potential to the table and looks to be the biggest danger to the selection.
