GYTO's Thursday Value Tip is a 11/2 shot at York.
15:35 York
Sir Michael Stoute won the Dante last year with Desert Crown before he went on to follow up in the Derby and he will be hoping he has a horse of similar ilk in the shape of PASSENGER. This Ulysses colt had to overcome inexperience to make a winning start at Newmarket but I thought it was particularly impressive the way he asserted and given his size and scope there should be plenty of improvement in him. He obviously steps up to a mile and a quarter for the first time which he should relish and connections will be hopeful he can remain unbeaten. I can see him being well supported on the day so might be worth snapping up the 11/2 on offer. Epictetus is fav at the time of writing but he was hardly impressive at Epsom on return and the form has taken a bit of a knock since. Flying Honours can improve and emerge as the main danger but Canberra Legend is another to note.
