Willie Mullins' powerful yard continues in rude health with seven winners in two days at Killarney and JIT LANGY may provide the champion trainer with another success. The selection showed plenty of promise on both outings in France last autumn including when runner-up to Gust Of Wind on his hurdling debut at Auteuil. That winner also subsequently joined the Closutton team and went on to finish fourth in the Triumph Hurdle. Samui made a winning debut in a Naas bumper and is an interesting recruit to hurdles having run with credit on his only outing since in a Grade 2 at Aintree. Night Sparkle won a 1m6f Haydock handicap last year off a mark of 76 and made a bright start for current connections when switched to hurdles at Naas. Spy has a similar profile and is another to consider.

Got Glory won a 1m4f maiden on her only Flat start in France and was absent for nearly two years until reappearing for current connections at the Fairyhouse Easter meeting last month. She was thrown in the deep end of her hurdling debut in the Grade 1 mares novice won by stablemate Ashroe Diamond and was never involved before pulled up two out. This represents a huge drop in class but it may be better to rely on LADY OF THE VALE who won a Clonmel bumper last autumn. She's shaped well on all three hurdle runs since including when beaten less than two lengths at Thurles and was returning from a six-month break when fourth to the odds-on Pink In The Park at Cork recently. Katherine enters calculations on her second at Listowel last summer, while Eire Comes Tribsy is a newcomer to note in the betting.

CROWSATEDAPPLETART can get back on the winning trail here, having impressed with the manner of his victory at Limerick in March. The Mick Winters-trained gelding subsequently finished a close third at Cork, only being run out of it towards the finish. Despite a 2lb rise for that near-miss, the six-year-old is reunited with Rachael Blackmore now and that can prove the decisive factor. Former Swiss Derby winner Galactica showed her first real hint of ability over hurdles last time when a staying-on third at Down Royal. The cheekpieces are dispensed with on this occasion but if the mare can replicate that form, she is a serious threat. Nemean disappointed at Naas recently but would be a contender on the form of his close second at Wexford on his penultimate outing.

JACK HOLIDAY was beaten over fences at this track last time but remains of definite interest off his hurdles mark. The John Gleeson-trained gelding easily landed a handicap over C&D on his penultimate start, the form of which has since been advertised by the runner-up. Philip Byrnes has built up a good relationship with the nine-year-old and the pair should take some catching from the front end. All eyes will be on Alphonse Le Grande on his return to action following a 42-day ban. The gelding was the subject of a running and riding enquiry when sixth at Thurles in February. The Tony Martin-trained four-year-old would be of interest if at his peak following that enforced absence. Fiveonefive has been consistent in maidens recently, so has to be considered on handicap debut.

Dual bumper winner MISTY'S GIFT has yet to strike since switching to hurdles but will get few better opportunities. The David Harry Kelly-trained gelding has been largely consistent in eight starts to date, but has thus far failed to get his head in front. In a race where only a handful appear to have realistic aspirations, it will be disappointing if he doesn't go very close. Present Soldier is less exposed over flights but, on collateral form, he has a bit to find with the Kelly horse. A point-to-point winner last November, he will relish the extra distance here and should be finishing better than anything. What Path was pulled up when last seen at Listowel in September but that was clearly not his true running. It would be no surprise to see the six-year-old involved at the business end of this contest.

An open looking contest and KING FERDINAND may prove the answer after a big run at Cork last time. The Milan gelding went down by a head to Elsannah then after a good battle and that looked a solid race, with the winner and the third both coming into it off previous victories. King Ferdinand went up 3lb and still looks on a competitive mark. Holiday In Kerry was a winner last time out, scoring in good style at Cork, and he has to be respected after a 6lb rise. Atlantian has been knocking on the door and is another for the shortlist. He was fifth behind the selection last time and is now 4lb better off, plus Liam McKenna takes 5lb off his back this time.

READIN TOMMY WRONG was impressive on his first outing for Willie Mullins at Ballinrobe 16 days ago and looks hard to oppose here on that showing. The Authorized gelding powered clear in the closing stages for a seven-length win and looks another nice recruit for owners Simor Munir and Isaac Souede. Dark Image ran well in a decent winners' bumper at Listowel last September and she could be the one to give the selection most to do on her return to action. Bobsfirth is the other winner in the field, but he hasn't been seen since his narrow victory at Killarney in August 2018 and is now an 11-year-old. The Emmet Mullins-trained Nene River is one to note in the market. The Westerner gelding won a point-to-point in England in March and was bought for 65,000 pounds at the Aintree Sale last month.
