MOONIESTA (best priced at 3/1) ended last season contesting Group 1 races and she can hopefully return to winning ways in this listed race. The five-year-old was bought for 850,000gns in December and she makes her first start for Joseph O’Brien in this race. She won over this course and distance in 2021 before winning a Group 2 later that season.

Mooniesta finished 2nd twice in Group 2 contests last season when beaten a short head and ½ length so she should appreciate this drop in class. She has finished 3rd and 2nd on her reappearance runs for the previous two seasons so we know she goes well fresh and I expect her to win on her stable debut for new connections.

Alice Haynes has a fantastic record bringing horses over to Ireland with both Fix You and Lady Hollywood winning (2/3 in her career) and hopefully ZIGGY'S DREAM (best priced at 9/4) can further enhance that impressive trend. The two-year-old justified her short price to win a Doncaster maiden on her debut before finishing an unlucky 2nd at Chester earlier this month in the Lily Agnes Stakes.

Ziggy’s Dream was slightly slowly away from Stall 6 that day resulting in her being further back than Kieran O’Neill would have liked before running on well to finish 2nd by ½ length at the finish. That extra run will give her vital experience over the likes Ribchestina, Porta Fortuna and Bated Moon and hopefully she can return to winning ways.
