There was lots to like about the way PAPA COCKTAIL cruised through the race before readily getting on top at Haydock last month. He is up another 7lb but could easily still be well handicapped off his current mark and with this track likely to suit he should be able to bring up the hat-trick under Callum Shepherd. Straits Of Moyle was a good third in a strong-looking race at Thirsk last time and if building on that will definitely be the danger in this field.
Lord Abama ran much better when fourth at Thirsk last time and is still lightly raced so is another one that shouldn’t be entirely overlooked. Westmorian hasn’t been firing recently but if bouncing back is another one you couldn’t rule out but I’d be happy to pass him over for now as that Catterick run last time wouldn’t be good enough.

I have this between the top two in the betting and as long as Bits And Bobs isn’t an above average newcomer then I’m fairly confident MISTRESS TEITE will take a bit of beating. She is bred to be pretty useful and was a big eye-catcher on debut. She was slowly intro stride and then looked tapped for toe before the penny dropped and she ran on powerfully at the death. She will know a lot more now and up in trip to 6f could open her account here.
Bits And Bobs is by James Garfield and is trained by Andrew Balding so is likely to be popular on debut. He could definitely be capable first time out but should do better for the experience. Ulysses filly Cherry Hill is a half-sister to three winners and is another one to keep an eye on in the betting as it will likely prove revealing to her chance in this.
