With 3 wins from 7 starts this season ALL DUNN might still have more to offer back on turf. He was freshened up after running a bit flat at Wolverhampton back in March and returned with an improved effort to finish second to a progressive sort at Southwell last time. Back on turf off just a 1lb higher mark he must go close here. I can see this track suiting and no surprise to see a fair bit of support for him in the betting. River Naver is a good looking filly for Archie Watson who might still have more to come. She has been beaten a fair way on two starts so far this season but might find this a bit easier and if improving could be the danger. Island Native is a massive price but he could leave previous form behind now handicapping so worth a market check.

Maggie’s Tern will likely prove popular here but she has already had a handful of starts and I think there might be something in here to beat her. I like WOOBAY for Phillip Makin who looks to be getting the hang of things now. She caught the eye to some extent running well on debut to finish third at Newcastle on sole start as a 2yo and on debut for Grant Tuer. She has since changed hands and then again shaped with promise beaten 4 lengths into third at Redcar on return. She ran on well in the closing stages suggesting she’ll come on for the run and she might be ready to strike now. If the favourite does blow out it might leave Gregorian filly Loch Carron as the main danger. She is on debut for Charlie Johnston and likely has a fair bit more to come now.
