I have been following GRENHAM BAY for a while now and I’m not about to abandon him now. He caught the eye on reappearance following a wind op when fourth behind Dubai Dawn and then improved to beat another nice horse in Fix You at Kempton last month. He was well backed again on handicap debut at Salisbury and ran on strongly to win with a bit to spare. The runner-up Snuggle won next time out at Windsor so the form has been franked. Even the fourth Big R ran well to finish second at Haydock next time so it definitely has a fair bit of substance. He is only up 3lb and with further improvement to come could complete the hat-trick. Striking Star hasn’t done much wrong and looks the obvious danger on recent form. Brooklyn Nine Nine has first-time cheekpieces and is also respected.
