A tricky looking contest with stamina concerns over two of the obvious contenders. LOVE MOCHA gets the vote as she looks the pick at the weights off her mark of 73. The Awtaad filly reportedly didn't face into first-time blinkers at Gowran last time, when she also stumbled over a furlong from home before weakening. She had been a solid third at Sligo previously and arguably has the strongest form in the book. Western Cape is rated 6lb inferior but ran well in maiden company when third at Roscommon. He was well beaten over this trip previously, though. Donbeg Reel has a mark of 69, which would actually leave him coming out best treated in this. The Highland Reel gelding has been well beaten in recent starts, though, and needs to improve on those showings.

Dual Galway Hurdle winner TUDOR CITY may be worth a shot here on his comeback run. The Yeats gelding won on his return last year, when scoring cosily over hurdles at Punchestown, and he has been eased a couple of pounds over the winter on the Flat. This doesn't look the strongest race and he is a previous C&D winner. Gracesolution was consistent on the all-weather at Dundalk earlier in the year and this nice ground will suit on her return to action. Universally seemed to be a consistent enough sort in France and is interesting for Eoghan O'Neill on his Irish debut.

DEN OF INIQUITY could be on a nice mark for her handicap debut. The Roaring Lion filly was narrowly denied in two starts on the all-weather at Dundalk over the winter and the form of both races got a boost subsequently. Stepping up in trip now could help as well, as her half-sister won over the extended 10 furlongs at Dundalk. Matt Connor got home in a tight finish at Cork in April and that form has worked out well. The runner-up Rattle And Hum scored subsequently, while Whisky On The Hill was third and has rattled off a hat-trick since. St Faz and Picture Of A City are others who have been knocking on the door and they have to be considered in a competitive little heat.

ECLAT DE LUMIERE may be able to land a tricky looking contest. The Sea The Stars filly is tried in blinkers now and there looks a race in her off this kind of mark. She was last seen finishing a solid enough fourth in handicap company at Dundalk and this nice ground on turf may prove ideal. The well-bred Water Nymph has been knocking on the door and was a touch unlucky on her penultimate start at Leopardstown. She should be thereabouts, and getting a win into the half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Fancy Blue will be important. Dancing Tango ran a couple of solid races in handicap company after winning her maiden at Dundalk and is another for the shortlist.

KINGS TIME may be able to step forward again and make the breakthrough at the third attempt. The Exceed And Excel gelding was third on his debut last season before chasing home Tango Flare on his return to action at Cork. That was a solid effort and with the run under his belt, he should go close. Navalny has a high enough rating of 88 but that seems to be mainly based on a fifth in Listed company last term and he hasn't run up to that in two starts since. The No Nay Never gelding was free over a mile at Dundalk on his return in April and dropping back to six with a hood and tongue-tie fitted may help. Running Cool has a mark of 81 and is another to consider. He was outclassed in stakes company last time but had run well when third in a tight finish at Gowran previously, and the winner Fort Vega has franked that form since.

JACKIE BROWN ran her best race to date when finishing strongly to take second at Sligo recently and she is fancied to go a place better now. She had a far from clear passage at the Cleveragh circuit and has a more favourable draw now in stall five. Lisieux also didn't get the run of the race at Sligo and was just a length behind the selection. She is one of just three previous winners in the line-up and she should give a good account of herself. One For Mum is another leading contender after going down narrowly on her most recent start. Caught in the final strides over 7f at Roscommon, this drop in trip to six may prove ideal. Fourth and second on his most recent starts, Elmo Lincoln is tried in a visor for the first time and is likely to go close, while others for the shortlist in this competitive affair are handicap debutants Strath Dancer and Nation Of Stars.

Caesar's Comet has a wide draw to overcome but still warrants respect as a dual C&D winner, while Catherine Chroi has three wins to her name and has filled the runner-up spot on her most recent outings at Sligo and Navan. Colin Keane is reunited with the Claire O'Connell-trained bay and she is likely to go close. For a selection, JAZZY DANCER gets the nod, with Conor Stone-Walsh taking a valuable 7lb off. He was placed three times at Dundalk over the winter months and ran well to finish sixth of 19 on his return to the turf at Naas. A seven-time winner on the all-weather, Rocky Dreams is capable of making his presence felt, while others for the shortlist are Cherry Bloom, Eriskay and Juno Beach.

PILLAR is a dual C&D winner and might be able to register a ninth career success on what will be his 127th run. The admirable 10-year-old will be ridden by promising young apprentice Yudish Geerdharry and he claims a valuable 7lb. James Lambe and Seamie Heffernan combined to take this contest 12 months ago and they are represented by Darcy's Rock. Successful at Chepstow last summer, he finished a close-up fourth on what was just his second start for current connections at Sligo in April. Fifth of 24 on her most recent start at the Curragh, Gallow Hill was beaten by just half a length and she should be able to make her presence felt with Billy Lee booked. James McAuley saddles Scarlet Dancer and Pulse Of Shanghai and they both look to have solid claims, while others for the shortlist are Kuwait Direction, Pearless and Sin E Shekells.
