The good looking DABBOUS clearly acts particularly well over this C&D having won here impressively back in April and then got within a neck of victory last month. He is still lightly raced and off just a 2lb higher mark here he is clearly going to be a danger to all again with Ben Curtis getting the leg up now. He stayed on well last time and was only narrowly held by a son of Kingman in You Saw Brigadoon who has won 2 of his last 3. The latter actually chased home Eastern Charm (runs at Yarmouth today funnily enough and is my NAP) at Yarmouth who is a horse I rate quite highly so I think the form stacks up. You Saw Brigadoon is also in opposition again here but he is up 3lb and the yard haven’t had a winner since. Covert Legend is another one likely to improve up in trip so is also feared.
