I know BUSSENTO is still a maiden but he has only had the 6 runs and just a couple in a handicap so if he is back to his best back down to 7f he might be the value play here. He didn’t run terribly when fourth behind Docklands just shaping as though he wanted to come back in trip. Back on a sound surface and racing off the same mark he could be a danger to all.

In These Shoes won at Beverley last time but a 5lb rise will demand more in a better race. Expert Eye filly Royal Charter won on debut but then struggled pitched into Group company at Ascot. Now handicapping she could do better and might even be a greater threat to the selection than the favourite. Out Of Shadows beat an improver in Odin Owns You All at Wolverhampton and didn’t run badly at Musselburgh so is another one to note.
