GYTO Tuesday Notebook Double

With 3 wins from his last 6 runs now MR FUSTIC is starting to look progressive and I thought that was a good effort to beat a decent yardstick in Sandy Paradise at Kempton last month. He stayed on well in the closing stages and that horse has since won to frank the form. He has only gone up 3lb too so another big run looks on the cards. Vitralite looks the danger but he is a 7yo now and I didn’t think there were too many excuses when only fifth at Nottingham so a mark of 70 might prove a little too much for now. Kodebreaker has won over C&D and has knocked on the door the last twice so is another one that could run well but I think if the selection improves again he should have this field covered.

With just the 4 rivals to beat this looks a good opportunity for RAGOSINA to open her account. She was only beaten a length on handicap debut at Pontefract last time and she still looked a bit clueless. She was slowly away and ran green during the race so I expect her to be a lot sharper here off just a 2lb higher mark. Angels Landing bumped into a well handicapped horse when beaten 3 lengths at Nottingham last time and looks the danger if matching that sort of form. Flight Of Angels is still lightly raced and if she steps forward she could get competitive but she will definitely need to leave that reappearance run at Redcar behind as she was too keen and did weakened a bit tamely in the closing stages.
